Shoreline Hike
Length 3.9 miles | elevation 95 feet | out and back
Carlsbad South Beach Hike. Just follow the coastline along the cliffs . You can access the shore from either end. For those more adventurous you can scale the cliffs down to the shore, in a few spots along the road. The south end has restrooms and lifeguards.

Batiquitos Lagoon Hike
Length 3.4miles | elevation 29 feet | out and back
Batiquitos Lagoon Trail is a 3.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Carlsbad, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Dinosaur Caves Bluff Trail is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Pismo Beach, California that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. .
