Andreas Canyon

Andreas Canyon is in the Indian Canyons east of Palm Springs. The 1 mile hike takes you through palm tree groves, along a creek and up to a waterfall. Admission to Indian Canyons is is $8.00 per person ( you access all trails). For more information check their website.

Murray Canyon
Palms Springs CA

Murray Canyon is in the Indian Canyons next to Andreas Canyon. You can access the trail from the Andreas parking lot. Just follow signs to the Murray Canyon parking lot and trailhead. the hike is about 3.7 miles winding through palm trees and up to a waterfall (usually dry summer & Fall). Palm Canyon

Palm Canyon is also in the Indian Canyons. The trails take through palm tree groves and are much longer hikes. there is a gift shop and restrooms at the trailhead.Admission $8.00 per person. You can visit both Andreas and Palm canyon with admission. For more information check their website.

Tahquitz Canyon
Palm Springs, CA

Prettiest of all the Palm Springs hikes. The Tahquitz Canyon Hike is 2 miles in and out up through rocks and streams, ending with a picturesque waterfall. admission is 12.50 per person from the gift shop. For more information check their website.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Tram Way, Palm Springs, CA

Once you have assended the mountain, you will find plenty of trails. Follow the concrete walkway to the bottom. The lodges at the bottom and top offer food, restrooms and gift shops. For more information check their website.

The Desert view trail winds through the forest and takes you to some great panoramas of the desert and distant mountains. This is an easy trail clearly marked. Do not wander too far of trail as it is easy to get disoriented and lost.
